Guidance Provided at Junior Football Session
From Thistlewick
Constable Douglas Finn was observed attending the junior football session earlier this week, where he provided what has been described as “clear and enthusiastic guidance” from the sidelines.
The use of a whistle was noted on several occasions, primarily in relation to positioning, spacing, and what the Constable later referred to as “general orderliness of play.”
While no formal infractions were recorded, players were seen responding with varying degrees of urgency.
One (1) sticking plaster was issued in relation to a minor incident involving a scraped knee.
Three (3) sweeties were also distributed: two following an accidental collision between participants, and one to an individual noted to have “shown admirable enthusiasm despite limited contact with the ball.”
The session was concluded without incident.
