I set up my business in 2015 creating as Daisyboots. I like nothing better than creating items that I would love to buy!

Daisyboots Designs is the home of textile art figures and original stories.

I am a textile artist working primarily with hand-stitching and cloth to create one-of-a-kind figures. Each figure is hand-stitched slowly, with care and attention, and shaped by their story as much as by cloth and thread.

My work sits between object and story: each piece begins as a character rather than a product, and develops through making (these stories are how I imagine my tiny pals – their animals, favourite foods, outrageous quirks and habits!).

Story plays a quiet but important role in my practice. Some stories are written, others are simply felt, but all of them shape how a figure is made, held, and understood.

Daisyboots Designs is made in Scotland and influenced by place, tradition, and a lifelong love of handmade things that carry presence and personality.

These are not patterns or products, but individual figures with their own quiet lives — created to be kept, displayed, and quietly treasured.
Made in Scotland, Daisyboots Designs is rooted in traditional making, storytelling, and the small details that allow a character to feel real.

Daisyboots designs and creates from a little studio in Edinburgh, hoping to bring a little fun and colour into everyday life.
