Description
Meet Dougal a rather attractive Scotsman with curly ginger hair and beard, who works in Surgeons‘ Hall Museums in Edinburgh, where he is in charge of the pathology exhibits. He has a medical background but found he wasn’t keen on meeting patients. He owns a large flat in the New Town which he shares with his Nan (who doesn’t need looking after) and his two Guinea pigs called Snuffy Chinstrap and Ginger Pickle.
At the weekends he loves nothing more than a wander up to the top of Arthur’s Seat, where he can view the city he loves while munching on a Greggs sausage roll and drinking a flask of tea.
Dougal is lovingly handmade with quality fabrics and with the greatest attention to details:
His body is from organic cotton and stuffed with hypo-allergenic polyester fibre.
His kilt is Macrae Hunting Ancient Tartan, his t-shirt is white cotton with a Scotland logo, his jacket is grey felt and his boots are black felt. He is wearing cotton socks and boxer shorts. (His socks and boots are not removable.)
Facial features are hand painted with acrylic paints and inktense pencils.
His ginger hair is wool roving which has been needle felted.
Dougal is a well behaved young man who will happily rest against your books on a bookshelf or can stand with a support (metal stand included).
All of my figures come with a printed out back story and care instructions.
All of my Art Dolls are unique, cut from my own original patterns and designs.
Each Art Doll is made with love and care, and as such I only use quality fabrics and paints.
My Art Dolls are for display only as they are textile sculptures rather than toys and are therefore NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN.
