Fern knows exactly how many ladybirds are in her garden (47, at last count). She’s never met a dandelion she didn’t wish on, and she firmly believes that mud is just nature’s moisturiser. Her braids are strong enough to swing from (don’t try it), and she once won a staring contest with a very determined duck.
