Miss Morag McTavish

I'm currently exhibiting at the Edinburgh Festival!

As many of my creations are one of a kind, I've temporarily paused online sales while I'm exhibiting at the 3D2D West End Fair.

If you're visiting Edinburgh this August, I'd love to welcome you in person. The West End Fair is a beautiful open-air arts and crafts village in the grounds of St John's Church, at the corner of Princes Street and Lothian Road. With over 120 carefully selected artists, designers and makers, everything on sale is handmade by the exhibitors themselves. The fair is open daily from 11:00am to 6:00pm, and admission is free.

While I'm at the fair, online purchasing has been temporarily paused to avoid disappointment, as many items may sell during the event.

The online shop will reopen after I return.

Thank you for your patience, and if you're in Edinburgh, I hope to see you there!

Miss Morag McTavish

£45.00

The library’s caretaker. She’s small, brisk, and always smells faintly of lavender polish.

If you hear Dolly Parton echoing through the stacks after hours, that’ll be Miss Morag McTavish doing a wee tidy. She’s been the keeper of Thistlewick’s library keys for as long as anyone can remember (and some say she’s got a spare key to every biscuit tin in the village, too).

Her tea must always come with a caramel log – non-negotiable – and she’s been known to classify visitors under ‘mildly suspicious’ if they dare bring anything else. With a twinkle in her eye and a laugh that could rattle the bookcases, Morag ensures the library stays in perfect order.

Loves a good laugh, a tidy shelf, and a strong cuppa. Approach with biscuits and good humour only.

It’s been noted (mainly by Mrs. Pringle at the bakery) that Postie Norbert McSquirrley has been making rather a lot of deliveries to the library lately – none of which appear to contain actual mail. Observers report a suspicious amount of hair-combing and whistling outside the library door, followed by the faint sound of Dolly Parton drifting from within.

Miss Morag  insists he’s simply returning overdue books – though sources confirm one of them was titled The Art of Subtle Flirting.

Description

Approximate standing dimensions are:
10cm tall (4 inches)

Each of my tiny pals are great little collectables for grown ups – sit them on your desk or shelf.

Adorably small and full of personality each tiny pal has a lot of attitude.

Born from a particularly fabulous pile of leftover craft supplies and a rogue sequin explosion the tiny pals always stand out

Each tiny pal comes boxed, with a printed out back story and care instructions.

All of my Art Dolls are unique and cut from my own original patterns and designs.
Each Art Doll is made with love and care, and as such I only use quality fabrics and paints.

My Art Dolls are for display only as they are textile sculptures rather than toys and are therefore NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN.
