Miss Velma von Dazzle was observed visiting Petal and Polka Florist earlier today, where she was seen consulting with Miss Beatrice Bloom regarding what she described as “a little display for my dining table, darling.”

Particular emphasis was placed on blooms that offered what Miss von Dazzle referred to as “movement,” with several arrangements being assessed for their ability to “respond appropriately to atmosphere.”

A selection was eventually made following what one observer described as “a moment of decisive flourish.”

A light scattering of glitter was later noted near the premises.
