A Quiet Presence
Village Notice From Thistlewick
Residents may have observed a steady presence making the early morning rounds in recent days.
Boots polished. Notebook in hand. Eyebrow… prepared.
Constable Douglas Finn has officially taken up post within the village.
While he assures all concerned there is “nothing to worry about,” it is understood that he has already:
- returned two lost items
- mediated one disagreement relating to a football
- and issued a look that resolved a situation entirely
He appears to be acquainted with a notable number of residents, and his “Now then… what’s all this?” is already becoming familiar.
One observer described the Constable as “a reassuring presence, with a strong understanding of both order and eyebrow deployment.”
