From the Village, The clock tower was observed to be running approximately seven minutes slow yesterday afternoon, prompting mild concern among residents.

Mr Archibald Cogsworth – Thistlewick clock keeper –  later confirmed that the delay was due to what he described as “a minor feline-related interruption,” involving at least one kitten and a length of twine.

Normal service and dependable chronometry have since been resumed.
