Miss Morag of the library has reportedly expressed concerns regarding what she has described as “an alarming increase in loitering” near the tea and cake table during recent village gatherings.

While no official complaint has been lodged, it is understood that several residents were observed returning for “just one more slice” on no fewer than four occasions.

Miss Morag declined to comment further, though her expression was said to convey everything necessary.
